I believe that utilising Agile & Lean principles and practices is the most effective, efficient and fulfilling way of developing products.
Originally a musician in a ‘self-organising’ alt rock band. An enthusiastic programmer from an early age. I learned how to write structured and OO code (at Uni) and went on to develop software for VR, 3D graphics, games and education. Later took the management path, or rather, the servant-leader path.
I have been leading and coaching development teams for 20 years. I also have a passion for happiness at work and I am a Happy Work Coach, member of Happy Melly network and supporter of Action for Happiness. Qualifications include: Qualified Personal and Business Coach; Certified Scrum Master; Certified SAFe Agilist; Class 1 BSc (Hons) Applied Software Engineering; BCS ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis; Licensed Learning 3.0 Facilitator.
I have a broad range of experience in terms of roles (Developer, BA, Product Manager, Development Manager, Head of Technology, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Personal Coach) and companies (startups, agencies, corporates, banking) including: Barclaycard, BBC, News International, Telegraph Media Group, Financial Times, The App Business, The Workshop, Zoo Digital.
